Police investigate triple shooting in Martinsburg; 2 men dead

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – Berkeley County Sheriff Nathan Harmon confirmed Sunday that two men were shot and killed in the parking lot of Laddies Bar and Grill on Lutz Avenue in Martinsburg Saturday night.

Harmon said deputies arrived on the scene at 8:21 p.m. and found two men dead and a third man injured. The gunshot victim was taken to Berkeley Medical Center.

Harmon said the department’s Criminal Investigation Division spent Saturday night and early Sunday morning processing the scene. They talked to numerous witnesses and collected video surveillance.

Harmon is seeking the public’s help in the investigation.

“This is where we, as a community, can work together,” he said in a Sunday Facebook post. “Any information that you may have regarding this particular incident would be greatly appreciated—please contact our office at 304-267-7000.”

The names of the victims have not been released.
