BEVERLY, W.Va. — Members of the Teamsters at a Randolph County hardwood flooring plant have ratified a new contract.
The union announced Friday evening that it’s members who work at the AHF Products plant in Beverly voted by more than 92% in favor of the four-year deal with the company. The vote ends a year long dispute, the Teamsters said.

The vote on the previous offer came on Feb. 23, 2020 with a 93% rejection vote.
“The first offer was terrible and did little to address the serious concerns of our members and based on the negotiating committee’s recommendation the offer was overwhelmingly rejected,” Teamsters Local 175 President Ken Hall said.
The new deal includes a total raise of $2.05 over the life of the contract retroactive to last February. The union said the contract includes health insurance premiums at low increases.
There are 400 members of the Teamsters at the plant. The voting was done by phone and internet because of the pandemic.
AHF laid-off more than 200 workers last April because of the pandemic.
