Kirk Ciarrocca joins WVU football staff

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Former Penn State offensive coordinator Kirk Ciarrocca has joined the WVU football coaching staff as an offensive analyst.

“I want to welcome, Kirk, his wife, Kim, and his family to Mountaineer Football,” Brown said. “I have known Kirk for many years, having worked together on the staff at Delaware. He brings years of successful experience and will be a valuable member of our football program.”

Ciarrocca has served as an offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach in the Big 10 Conference in each of the last four seasons. He held those positions at PSU in 2020 and at Minnesota from 2017-2019. Prior to those years, Ciarrocca was the offensive coordinator at Western Michigan from 2013-2016.

Ciarrocca has also coached at Delaware, Temple, Western Connecticut State, Delaware Valley College, Princeton, Rutgers and Penn. He is native of Lewisberry, Pennsylvania.

Neal Brown and Ciarrocca coached together at Delaware in the 2005 season.
