Glenville State College to return to pre-pandemic schedule this fall

GLENVILLE, W.Va. — The fall semester at Glenville State College will have a schedule identical to conditions before the coronavirus pandemic.

“We are so looking forward to this upcoming fall semester here at Glenville State College,” President Mark Manchin said in a press release.

“Glenville State has done an outstanding job managing the virus, and with vaccination rates increasing and active Coronavirus cases declining all around the state and country, we are well positioned for the fall to return to normal operations. We know our students are ready to be back living and learning in ways prior to the pandemic, and our faculty, staff, and coaches are ready to welcome them back home.”

A weeklong orientation session for incoming first-time students will begin Aug. 9 and include multiple welcome activities, a concert and a traditional convocation ceremony.

The fall semester will start Aug. 16 with the winter commencement set to take place Dec. 11. Courses will be fully in-person.
