LEIVASY, W.Va. — A 14-year-old girl died in a UTV wreck in Nicholas County Sunday night.
According to the Nicholas County Sheriff’s Department, the wreck occurred in a yard in the community of Leivasy at just after 7 p.m.
The victim along with a 15-year-old girl and 16-year-old boy were in the machine when the boy, who was driving, lost control and it rolled over.
Deputies said the 14-year-old girl, who was riding in the middle, was thrown from the machine and killed. The other juveniles suffered minor injuries.
The wreck remains under investigation, No charges have been filed.
