Teenage girl dies in Kanawha County shooting

RUTLEDGE, W.Va. — A 14-year-old girl was shot and killed in Kanawha County Sunday afternoon.

The sheriff’s department said it happened at around 2 p.m. in the community of Rutledge.

No one has been charged in connection with the death. The sheriff’s department said information would be turned over to county prosecutors for review.
