
BLUEFIELD, W.Va. — Federal authorities announced Wednesday evening the arrest of a Bluefield mother and daughter charged for the death of a 13-year-old.
The U.S. Marshals of the Southern District of West Virginia, Cops United Felony Fugitive Enforcement Division (CUFFED) Task Force have been working with Bluefield police to find Nichole Brooks, 43, and 22-year-old Isis Wallace. According to U.S. Marshals, authorities arrested Brooks and Wallace in Dover, Delaware at around 9 p.m. Wednesday.
The women are charged with first-degree murder; they allegedly fired multiple shots into a vehicle at a red light near the intersection of U.S. Route 460 and Cumberland Road in Bluefield on March 23. The teenager was in the backseat of the car and shot in the head. She later died at Charleston Area Medical Center General in Charleston.

According to police, the incident may have stemmed from a dispute at another location earlier in the evening.
The U.S. Marshals Service is expected to announce more details about the arrests on Thursday.
