Boone County vehicle collision claims life

JULIAN, W.Va. — A Boone County man has been identified as the victim of a fatal car accident Thursday near Julian.

According to the West Virginia State Police (WVSP), Timothy Glenn Kuhn, 64 of Julian, died of injuries sustained in a crash around 9:30 p.m. on U.S. 119.

WVSP said Kuhn was traveling northbound on U.S. 119, while Kennith Andrew Kirk was traveling southbound. Kuhn attempted to make a left had turn from U.S. 119 to travel westbound on West Virginia Route 3, police said.

The investigation concluded that Kuhn pulled in front of Kirk causing a collision

This investigation remains active and ongoing.
