Nicholas woman charged with sending nude photos to teenager

SUMMERSVILLE, W.Va. — A Nicholas County health care professional has been charged with sending nude photos and videos to a teenage boy.

Nicholas County sheriff’s deputies arrested Amber Nicole Smarr, 35, of Fenwick Tuesday.

Deputies allege Smarr sent the material to the 13-year-old boy in March and April of this year. She’s charged with five counts of solicitation of a minor and five counts of distribution of sexually explicit material to a minor.

Smarr, who the Nicholas County Sheriff’s Department described as a primary care nurse practitioner, is free on $50,000 bond.

The department said its investigation is ongoing.
