CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The search continues for wanted West Virginia man Kenneth Alan Stout.
Stout is wanted for the first-degree murder of Barbara Baker from April 1 in McDowell County.

The U.S. Marshal Service along with CrimeStoppers West Virginia have posted a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to his arrest.
U.S. Marshals said Stout, who was last seen in the Dillon County area of South Carolina, may be trying to exploit members of religious communities. Marshals believe Stout could be acting as a handyman or contractor and asking for financial support, alleging his wife died from cancer.
“It is imperative that the religious community and the public remain vigilant and be on the lookout for Stout, as he is considered armed and dangerous due to his violent tendencies”, said U.S. Marshal Michael T. Baylous.
Stout, 63, is described to be a white man, standing 5 feet 7 inches and weighs around 160 pounds. He has brown eyes and is mostly bald. Marshals said his right arm and hand are noticeably scarred.
Anyone with information on Stout’s current location is urged to contact the U.S. Marshals Service at 1-877-WANTED-2 or the USMS Southern District of West Virginia at (304) 347-5136.
