PARKERSBURG, W.Va. — West Virginia University at Parkersburg has named its new president.
Interim president Torie Jackson had the interim tag removed and was named as the next president of the school by the Board of Governors Tuesday.
Jackson became interim president following the departure of Chris Gilmer, who left in July 2022 to become president of Potomac State College.
She was selected from a pool of seven finalists.
