CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Gov. Jim Justice underwent what his office called “routine gallbladder surgery” Monday.
A statement said Justice had a flare up last Thursday and doctors recommended surgery to remove it.

“Gov. Justice is currently resting well, in good spirits, and anxious to get back to work serving the great people of West Virginia,” the statement said.
Justice had never had gallbladder issues before, his office said.
