U.S. Transportation Secretary to visit Wheeling

WHEELING, W.Va. — U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg will visit Wheeling to start his day next Tuesday.

He’ll be there with Mayor Glen Elliot and other Wheeling leaders to tout the work of the Biden Administration’s infrastructure spending. Wheeling used $16 million to help fund the city’s downtown revitalization efforts.

Buttigieg will move on for an event in Pittsburgh later in the day to also highlight the Administration’s spending on infrastructure and other programs.
