Arrest made after ambulance stolen

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A woman was arrested Saturday after stealing an ambulance in Huntington.

State police arrested and charged Nicole Nida, 42, of Huntington, following a brief pursuit on U.S. Route 60 at just before 2 p.m. The Cabell County ambulance was stolen from a nearby Sheetz.

Troopers charged Nida with Grand Larceny, Fleeing with Reckless Indifference, Obstructing, Suspended/Revoked License and Reckless Driving.

She’s being held in the Western Regional Jail.
