HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – A Huntington man is in custody in connection with a stabbing that left one victim in the hospital.
Carlos Arvelle Richmond, 42, faces a charge of malicious wounding, according to a criminal complaint filed in Cabell County Magistrate Court.
That complaint indicated Richmond struck a man “in the chin with a knife in an attempt to stab the victim.” It also noted that the victim, who dispatchers said was hospitalized Monday afternoon, sustained a large laceration.
Police initially responded to the reported altercation around 3:30 pm on Monday in the 1400 block of Lynn Street.
