Toddler dies after being struck by vehicle in Marion County

FARMINGTON, W.Va. — Marion County deputies are investigating an accident that claimed the life of a two-year-old girl.

Deputies were dispatched to Havana Street in Farmington at 4:17 p.m. Tuesday after the collision.

The toddler had been hit by a vehicle and was flown for treatment to J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital where she later died.

Deputies are continuing their investigation.
