BOB WHITE, W.Va. –A Boone County man is in custody following a shooting that left one dead and another injured Saturday.
According to a release from West Virginia State Police, Jerry Hills, 60, of Bob White has been charged with first degree murder and malicious wounding.
The released stated troopers had responded to a residence on Old Delta Road in Bob White for reports of a shooting. When troopers arrived, they found Tammy Rowe, 49, of Gordon dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
They also found Shena Castle, 50, of Seth suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Castle was taken to Boone Memorial Hospital where she was treated and released.
Hills is currently being held at Southwestern Regional Jail.
