Second arrest made in fatal Barbour County overdose

PHILIPPI, W.Va. — Charges have been filed against a second person after a fatal overdose in Barbour County last week.

Deputies from the Barbour County Sheriff’s Department said Tiara Miller, 33, supplied the drugs that resulted the death of one person.

March 23, deputies charged Jeremy Tacy after video surveillance showed him taking drugs from one of the two victims he drove to the hospital.

Miller was allegedly in the backseat of the car with a juvenile while Tacy transported the two overdose victims to the hospital. The juvenile was also present in the residence when the drugs were ingested.

Miller has been charged with drug delivery resulting in death, child neglect with risk of injury, conspiracy and failure to render aid.
