PARKERSBURG, W.Va. — A Wood County man died in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday in Wood County, sheriff’s deputies said.
Thomas Johnson, of Progress Ridge Road, was driving a pickup truck that was attempting to turn from Progress Ridge Road onto U.S. Route 50 when an eastbound tractor trailer struck Johnson’s vehicle.
Johnson died at the scene. A passenger in the pickup truck was injured.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Department is continuing its investigation.
