RICHWOOD, W.Va. — State police arrested a Richwood woman Saturday and charged her with killing her daughter.
Troopers said Staci Wind, 50, reported her daughter Ayla Wind, 26, missing last Monday, May 18. On Friday, troopers responded to Summit Lake in Greenbrier County where human remains were found in a shallow grave.
Staci Wind was arrested at a residence on Riverside Drive in Richwood Saturday and charged her with first degree murder. She’s in the Central Regional Jail without bail.
