PARKERSBURG. W.Va. — Two members of the Parkersburg Fire Department were treated and released for injuries after their fire truck overturned headed to a call.
The incident happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday night. Authorities believe the truck went off the berm and the driver over corrected as he moved to get back on the road. The shift caused the truck to flip over on its side.
The truck was headed to a fire, which turned out to be a result of some burned food.
The incident happened at the intersection of Pike Street and 14th Avenue.
Damage to the truck is being assessed today.
