State police searching for missing Nicholas County woman

RICHWOOD, W.Va. — A Silver Alert has been issued for the missing 62-year-old Nicholas County woman reportedly suffering from dementia.

State police troopers are searching for Mary Green where she was last seen near her home in Richwood home last Thursday,  June 18, entering a wooded area.

Troopers said Green was last seen leaving her Greenbrier Road home around 3:30 p.m. and has not been seen since.

Authorities have used canines, drones, and volunteers to search the area and not found any trace of Green yet.

Green has also been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC).

Anyone with information about Green is asked to contact West Virginia State Police at 304-256-6700.
