U.S. Route 60 back open after Milton house fire

MILTON, W.Va – Two people are recovering after being taken to the hospital following a house fire in Milton on Saturday.

According to Cabell County dispatchers, the blaze began just before 3 p.m. in the 100 block of Trenol Road and was brought under control after close to two and a half hours. Crews continued working on-site to extinguish hot spots.

U.S. Route 60 in the immediate area was closed in both directions so crews could bring water to the house, but the roadway is fully reopened.
