MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A well-known Morgantown obstetrician is dead after a vehicle crash east of Morgantown.
The Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office said Dr. William Hamilton lost control of his car on state Route 7 near Dry Run Road and struck a tree at about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Hamilton died at the scene.
