Marshall County deputy recovering from medical incident

MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. — Marshall County Sheriff Mike Dougherty is asking the public to pray for a deputy who suffered a heart attack on the job.

The incident happened as the unidentified deputy was headed to a call early Friday morning in his cruiser. In a social media post, Dougherty indicated the deputy was receiving medical care.

He also asked the community to keep the deputy, his family, and all members of the law enforcement in their thoughts and prayers.
