LEON, W.Va. — The state Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a fatal fire in Mason County.
The blaze happened early Wednesday morning at a residence along state Route 62 in the Leon area.
Authorities said one person died in the fire and a second person suffered burn injuries and was transported to a hospital.
The fire was reported at just before 3 a.m.
