The watch begins Saturday afternoon and currently stretches until late Saturday night.

All counties are included with the exception of the eastern mountain and eastern panhandle counties.

The message from the Weather Service said:

“Multiple rounds of heavy showers and thunderstorms are forecast to affect the watch area, especially Saturday afternoon and night. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.”
