BRUCETON MILLS, W.Va. — Preston County schools officials said Bruceton School was placed in a “hold” condition at 11:05 a.m. due a custody dispute.
The “hold” status means no one is allowed in or out of the building until the dispute is resolved.
The “hold” status will continue until law enforcement is able to resolve the situation.
School officials ask parents to limit communications with the school and do not attempt to pick students up at this time. The students are safe and secure at this time, according to officials.
