STAR CITY, W.Va. — The U.S. Marshals Service is searching for an escapee from a juvenile detention center wanted in connection with a shooting in Star City this summer.
Authorities said Xander Finley-Ball, 18, escaped from a detention center in Wheeling on Oct. 10. Ball is described as a white male, 5-feet 8-inches tall, brown hair, grey eyes, and was last seen wearing a green hoodie and tan pants.
Finley-Ball was a juvenile in July when he allegedly shot and critically injured a man at the University Commons apartment complex in Star City.
