ELKINS, W.Va. — U.S. Marshals and state police arrested a man Sunday evening wanted in Braxton County for failing to appear for a murder case court hearing.
Christopher Dotson, 34, of Elkins, was taken into custody at just before 8 p.m. at a mobile home on Elderberry Drive in Elkins, authorities said.
Police have been looking for Dotson since April 17 when he failed to appear for court in Sutton. He was charged with murder in 2017 but released on bond last November.
He was taken to Tygart Valley Regional Jail after his Sunday arrest. A woman with him at the mobile home was also arrested.
Police said they found a loaded gun at the residence.
