HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A man is dead after drowning in the Ohio River Sunday evening.
Cabell County Sheriff Chuck Zerkle said it appears William Klotz, 38, of Wooster, Ohio, had been swimming with friends near Route 2 and the Huntington YMCA Kennedy Center when he drowned.
Klotz’s body was recovered at around 6 p.m. It’s been sent to the state Medical Examiner’s Office.
