A firefighter has been released from the hospital after suffering injuries in a late night house fire in St. Albans on Monday.
The fire broke out just past 10 p.m. at a home in the 1000 block of College Circle.
Authorities said the firefighter was hurt after falling through a second floor landing while checking the home for people.
No one was inside the home at the time of the blaze.
The name of the firefighter has not been released.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
