Greenbrier County Sheriff Jan Cahill has released the name of the victim in a farming accident that took place Sunday near Lewisburg.
Sheriff Cahill tells MetroNews Kenneth Keesee, 67, of Smoot, was killed after being pinned between the bucket and the frame of his dump truck Sunday evening.
The accident happened on Benedict Lane.
Investigators aren’t sure what Keesee was looking at when the bucket came down. The sheriff says his department is asking the state PSC to help with the investigation.
Sheriff Cahill says Keesee owned and operated the dump truck and has been working in the area for years.
