ELKINS, W.Va. — A Barbour county man has pled guilty to methamphetamine trafficking in federal court.
Daniel Lee Canter, 30, of Volga, was discovered in possession of methamphetamine in November 2014 in Lewis County.
He entered a guilty plea to one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine and faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1,000,000.
The Lewis County Sheriff’s Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration investigated this case.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephen Warner prosecuted on behalf of the government, while U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael John Aloi presided.
