One dead in Mercer County accident

PRINCETON, W.Va. — A Nicholas County man died after he was struck by a vehicle Thursday in Princeton.

According to investigators, James Housh, 55, of Summersville was walking in the middle of the roadway on Oakvale Road, when the incident occurred. Housh was transported to Princeton Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No charges have been filed against the driver.

The investigation is continuing.
