INWOOD, W.Va. — Police confirm a man has died after he was struck by a vehicle.
Berkeley County Sheriff Curtis Keller confirms John Fitzgibbons, 61 of no fixed address, was hit Wednesday night near the intersection of Gerrardstown Road and Sader Drive. Deputies responded to the scene at around 7:30 pm.
The driver of the 2012 Dodge Ram pickup truck that hit Fitzgibbons will not be charged. Investigators have determined the driver was unable to see Fitzgibbons at the time he was struck.
