CEC names Steve Cain to lead Bridgeport office

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — Civil & Environmental Consultants has announced Steve Cain is now the Office Lead for CEC Bridgeport.

Cain, P.E., was named to the new job earlier this fall. The company said he’s been settling into his new role since.

“It’s just really a fantastic opportunity for me to be a key part of a great office and wonderful company,” Cain said in a news release.

Cain is a CEC vice president. He’s been with the company for seven years. He has 29 years of overall engineering consulting experience.

“It is extremely exciting to have the opportunity to head an office that’s been so successful. I look forward to the continued mentoring of the young talent at CEC as well as leading the Bridgeport office with continued growth,” Cain said.

Cain replaces Dennis Miller who led the Bridgeport office since 2012. Miller will eventually go into a corporate leadership position.

CEC is an engineering and environmental consulting firm. It has 29 offices nationwide with approximately 1,200 workers. There are 120 workers in the Bridgeport office.
