Huntington police identify victim in overnight homicide and search for 2 men

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Huntington Police have identified a man who was shot and killed late Wednesday night and are on the hunt for two men in connection with the shooting.

Jermaine Johnson, 41, of Huntington, was shot multiple times just before 11:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Marcum Terrace. He was taken to the hospital where he later died of his injuries.

Detectives are looking for Antonio Roland and Rafael Solomon. Police said the two men were present at the time of the shooting and they need to speak with them.

Roland and Solomon have not been charged.

Police are urging Roland and Solomon call the Huntington Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau at 304-696-4420 ext. 1025.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call 304-696-4420 ext. 1083 or leave an anonymous tip at 304-696-4444.
