Tuesday crime spree in Huntington includes armed robbery of Dollar General store

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Law enforcement in Huntington located and arrested a Lesage man and charged him with robbing a Dollar General store.

Officers responded to the store, located in the 2700 block of 5th Avenue, at approximately 6 p.m. Tuesday for an armed robbery call.

Shortly after conducting a search of the area for the suspect, members of the Cabell County Sheriff’s Department responded to a disturbance near Lesage. Deputies pulled over a vehicle that was leaving the area of the disturbance. They identified the driver, Clay Pratt, as the robbery suspect from the Dollar General.
