Man charged after fatal crash in Logan County

CORA, W.Va. — A man is charged with causing a deadly crash in Logan County.

Deputies allege Eddie Bailey was under the influence when his vehicle slammed into a car at around 5 a.m. Tuesday on Holden Road near Cora.

Deputies said the force of the collision ejected David Trammell, of Peach Creek, from the approaching vehicle. He died at the scene.

Bailey is charged with DUI causing death. He’s in the Southwestern Regional jail on $100,000 bail.
