BEAVER, W.Va. –An investigation is underway following reports of an incident at the Federal Correctional Institution Beckley Friday.
According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, multiple inmates were involved in “several altercations” at FCI Beckley. They stated that the incident was contained and isolated by employees and there was no threat to the public.
No other information was provided.
