CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Charleston Police say they are still searching for a St. Albans man wanted for a weekend murder in the Capital City. Jack Rolfe, 33, of St. Albans as been wanted since a shooting early Sunday morning in Charleston.
The victim, 31-year old Joshua Walls was hit with gunfire after the two got into an argument at Walls’ home in the Capital City.
“We’re currently looking for him , we know he may have some ties in Cabell County and Putnam County,” said Tony Hazelett, Deputy Chief of Police for the city of Charleston.
Police say Rolfe arrived at Walls’ home around 2 a.m. Sunday. The two were acquainted and an argument started almost immediately when Rolfe arrived. The arguement escalated into gunfire not long after it started.
Police have warrants for Rolfe’s arrest on a charge of First Degree Murder. Police say they do know what the two were arguing about, but will not release it until the suspect is in custody.
