CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A Kanawha County woman pleaded guilty in court Monday to providing access to children that her boyfriend allegedly sexually abused.

Investigators alleged Vanessa Beauvais, 38, ran an in-home daycare in South Charleston and allowed her boyfriend, Christopher Rush, 50, to sexually abuse the kids.
Beauvais pleaded guilty to employment or use of a minor to produce obscene matter.
Beauvais must register as a sex offender for life because of her guilty plea. She’ll be sentenced July 16.
Investigators said Rush became a suspect after his name was mentioned in an interview of a Putnam County man involved in internet crimes against children. During that interview, the Putnam County man allegedly said Rush admitted to having access to a young child.
Investigators said evidence on Rush’s cell phone included videos and images of him inappropriately touching a young child. Court records claim Beauvais may have committed sexual acts in front of the children as well.
Rush was arrested as part of “Operation Cupid’s Arrow” in February 2025. That U.S. Marshals operation resulted in 38 arrests and recovered four missing children.
