CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Two suspects in Clarksburg have been charged after police said they were living in the back of a commercial building with a large quantity of fentanyl.
Thorn Wimer, 34, and William Smith, 44, were found living in the back of the Premier Glass building on Dane Street behind Hite Field Tuesday.
Also Tuesday, Premier Glass reported the theft of tools to police.
Police recovered nine weapons, 6.7 ounces of fentanyl, three grams of methamphetamine, scales, and a small amount of marijuana.
While the pair told police they lived in the building neither would admit the drugs belonged to them.
Wimer and Smith have been charged with possession with intent to deliver and are being held in the North Central Regional Jail.
