EGLON, W.Va. — A Terra Alta man has been arrested in connection with an alleged kidnapping.

Deputies responded to the residence on Maple Springs Highway after receiving reports that Joseph Price, 50, was trying to break into the home.
While headed to the scene, deputies learned told the residents he would kill them if they called police before leaving the scene.
Price is accused of knocking down the door and making threats to police and the residents inside.
The victims said were afraid to leave the home because Price had threatened to shoot them in the back if they left the home during previous incidents.
When deputies talked to Price he told them he was not allowed inside the home and had to use his shoulder to force the door open. Price said he fixed the door and allegedly told one of the victims he would not be able to break it next time and he would have to use the back door.
Price has been charged with kidnapping and burglary and is being held in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
