One hurt in early Friday Harrison County crash

BRISTOL, W.Va. — One person is being treated for injuries following a head-on crash early Friday morning near Salam in Harrison County.

Authorities said the wreck happened at about 3:15 a.m. in the construction zone at U.S. Route 50 near Flinderation Road when eastbound vehicle in the westbound lane collided with another vehicle.

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department is conducting the investigation.

Harrison County EMS, Salem Fire Department and Nutter Fort Fire Department all assisted at the scene.

No other information has been released.
