MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A threat was made by phone to the WVU Child Learning Center in Morgantown Friday morning and a lockdown was put into place at around 10:30 a.m.
WVU Safety issued a community notice. Reports indicate parents were then later allowed to pick-up their children.
WVU Safety issued an update at 11:50 a.m. that said WVU Police remained on the scene.
“No immediate threat was found. An investigation continues. Additional information is being shared directly with parents,” the update said.

The WVU Child Learning Center is operated by Bright Horizons and is located on Laurel Street in the Suncrest neighborhood of Morgantown.
