SHINNSTON, W.Va. — A three-vehicle collision that included a school bus in Shinnston Thursday afternoon caused a young child to be hospitalized.
Harrison County sheriff’s deputies said accident happened at around 4:15 p.m. on Route 19, close to the Dawson Mine Road intersection. According to deputies, the bus rear-ended one vehicle, leading to that car crashing into a third. Authorities said the child was in the third vehicle and was hospitalized out of caution.
The school bus was reportedly empty at the time of the crash. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
