HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Cabell County Magistrate Judge Danne Vance has been chosen as the next county clerk.
Vance, chosen by the Cabell County Commission, will be sworn in next Thursday. He replaces interim clerk Grace Taylor, who was filling the seat after Scott Caserta’s retirement in late September.
Vance will serve for the next two years.
The county clerk seat will appear on 2028 ballots.
