Abduction, kidnapping charges for two Shepherdstown men

MARTINSBURG, W.Va.

Two Shepherdstown men allegedly forced their way into a Berkeley County residence Tuesday and abducted a man there.

23-year-old Antonio Shanton and 32-year-old Robert Shanton face single counts of abduction, burglary and robbery, and two counts of conspiracy.

The victim identified the men as brothers, and told police he was told to withdraw money from his account at an area convenience store.

They were being held without bond last night at Eastern Regional Jail.
